YOU NEED STRENGTH

You can't reach your full potential without the ability to apply serious effort when needed.

Make no mistake, this doesn't come without determination, hard work and discipline. 

1. Sleep Deep

Each night, when I go to sleep, I die. And the next morning, when I wake up, I am reborn.

Sleep is your daily recovery and reset.

You need to emerge completely refreshed with a clean slate, every day. Make sure that your bedroom is completely dark, silent and cool. If you can't do this, then forget about everything else.

And ignore the "I'll sleep when I die" bullshit.

Figure it out.

2. Eat Well

The food you eat can be either the safest and most powerful form of medicine or the slowest form of poison.

You won't get far while stuffing garbage down your throat. You need high quality fuel for your body to operate at its best.  

Eat whole foods from clean sources. Eat when you’re hungry and finish when you’re satisfied. Drink water when you're thirsty.

Limit alcohol, added sugar, heavily processed fat and additives.

Steer clear of smoking, vaping and self-destructive activities.

Eat less to lean-down and eat more to bulk-up. It's that simple.

Be disciplined, not obsessive.

3. Get Strong

The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That’s what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they’ll go through the pain no matter what happens.

Exercise habitually with intensity, featuring a combination of cardio and strength training. Go beast-mode as there's no substitute for aggressive, hormone inducing, brute force intensity. Don't stop when you're tired, stop when you're done. Then sit back and enjoy the pain, you earned it.

And walk, hike, jog, ride, climb stairs every chance you get.
